Project
Progress Reports are attached at the end of OPR document
usually put as Annex D. They are required for all
projects costing over GBP 1,00,000 or more than two
years old. For projects that are finishing, this type of
report is called Project Completion Report (PCR). They
chart and score project progress, achievement and
impact, and so contribute to good project cycle
management; further, they contain lessons which may well
be valuable when designing projects with similar characteristics.
All information recorder here must be entered into
PRISM, the Performance Reporting Reporting System for
Management. It is a computer based information system
for DFID's internal use, not available outside. It
provides data for day-to-day programme management and
for analysis on a portfolio wide basis, e.g., of ideas
in the pipeline or the likely impact of projects against
a range of criteria such as country, sector, institution
or policy initiative.
