These documents are the findings of Output to Purpose
Reviews (OPRs), the ongoing system of evaluation of
projects funded by DFID. Since June 2003 the management
of the OPRs of 8 projects under the DFID's Rural
Livelihood Programme, has been contracted out to Rural
Livelihood Evaluation Partnership (RLEP). The OPRs are
aimed ensuring that a project attains the results
intended by DFID and to assess how far it has progressed
towards achievement of its development objective (PDO).
The provide a qualified judgment on whether or not these
results have in fact been achieved. The purpose of these
reviews is to learn from past experience lessons that
can improve the effectiveness of future aid
activities.
